The Deli
Katie Ray - June 12, 2005
There are no delis where I live. I want to open one. One with nice crusty bread, the best (but not too expensive) meats and cheeses, fresh tomatos, lettuce, avocados, pickles, etc. I also want to see pasta and macaroni salads.
I plan on making a special meal deal called: The Brown Bag. It will contain:
A sandwich Probably a bit smaller then the ones offered without the meal, but still as tasty and hopefully, as filling.
A drink The choices for drink: Soda, iced tea, lemonade, water, or any bottled drink in the case.
A side item A small container of one of our salads or a bag of chips or pretzels.
A sweet item A cookie, brownie, slice of pie, or whatever else I decide to offer.
The price: Somewhere between $5 and $7. It will depend on how much everything costs. This price will include tax.
I plan on offering unique items to sell. For instance, the chips I sell will be like Terra Chips or Veggie Chips or something like that. Most likely there will be a selection. I plan on offering Real Hawaiian Mac Salad in additon to the regular macaroni salad people are used to eating.
I will probably open this deli in Occooquan as this is a lovely little place and there is no place like it close to where I live that would be suitable for a deli like mine.
Walking on a log
Aaron Hall - June 9, 2005
Katie and I went camping one weekend and decided to try out our new digital camera. While fiddling with it, we were delighted to find out that we could make movies with it. So without further ado, this is me taking a walk on a log. Katie is the camera woman.
